Richie Hawtins Label Minus startet mit neuer Compilation minMAX
Das Labelkonglomerat von Richie Hawtin startet ein neues Projekt. Mit minMAX soll die musikalische Lücke zwischen Minus und Plus 8 erschlossen werden. Am 27. Mai kommt der erste Teil der Compilation, unter anderem mit Mathew Jonson, Heartthrob, Gaiser, Julian Jeweil und Barem. Die Künstler sind alle schon von Minus Produktionen bekannt, der Stil der neuen Compilation wird also minimal und technoid. „So wie andere unterteilen und kategorisieren, bringen wir Sachen wieder zusammen, öffnen Dinge und erlauben uns eine engere Verbindung zu der Musik, die ich liebe und die Sounds und Texturen, die durch viele meiner DJ-Sets wandern“, sagt Richie Hawtin.
Zu den zwölf Tracks auf der CD-Version kommt ein DJ-Mix von Hobo, der zusätzliche, exklusive Tracks umfasst. Außerdem wird es eine spezielle Vinylversion und eine digitale Version geben.
