Pop-Ikone Kylie Minogue meldet sich mit ihrer brandneuen Single „A Second to Midnight“ zurück – die erste Auskopplung ihres bevorstehenden Albums „DISCO: Guest List Edition“, das eine Neuauflage ihres Nummer-Eins-Albums „DISCO“ aus dem Jahr 2020 markiert.

„A Second to Midnight“ entstand in Zusammenarbeit mit der Band Years & Years und kommt mit einem offiziellen Musikvideo daher, das in der historischen Collins‘ Music Hall in London gedreht wurde. Die ab sofort erhältliche Single wird gewiss nicht das einzige Highlight des Albums sein, denn mit Stücken wie „Can’t Stop Writing Songs About You“ (mit Gloria Gaynor) oder „Kiss of Life“ (mit Jessie Ware) hat die LP noch eine ganze Menge mehr zu bieten. Enthalten sind zudem bisher unveröffentlichte Remixe von Fan-Lieblingen wie „Real Groove (Studio 2054 Remix)“ mit Dua Lipa oder „Magic“ mit dem Durchstarter Purple Disco Machine.

Die „DISCO: Guest List Edition“ erscheint digital, auf CD und auf Vinyl. Verfügbar wird auch eine Deluxe-Version sein, die die einzigartige „Infinite Disco“-Livestream-Performance des letzten Jahrs enthält. Für Vinyl-Liebhaber gibt es darüber hinaus eine Dreifach-Gatefold-Vinyl-Version.

Mit „DISCO“ schrieb Kylie Minogue im Jahr 2020 Chartgeschichte: Sie war die erste Künstlerin, dessen Alben in fünf aufeinanderfolgenden Jahrzehnten in Großbritannien an die Chartspitze stürmten.
