Nightmares on Wax kündigt neues Album „Shout Out! To Freedom…“ an

George Evelyn (Nightmares on Wax) meldet sich mit einem neuen Album namens „Shout Out! To Freedom…“ zurück.

Der UK-Electronica-Pionier aus Leeds unterstreicht mit der LP eindrucksvoll, dass Nightmares on Wax zu den bedeutsamsten und einflussreichsten schwarzen, britischen Produzent*innen seiner Generation zählt. Es dauert keine paar Sekunden, bis man den legendären Nightmares-on-Wax-Sound wiedererkennt, der bereits 1995 mit dem Hitalbum „Smokers Delight“ allgegenwärtig in der Luft lag. Es folgten die LPs „Carboot Soul“ (1999), „Mind Elevation“ (2002) und „In a Space Outta Sound“ (2006).

Nun steht also endlich das vierte Studioalbum in den Startlöchern. „Shout Out! To Freedom…“ erscheint am 29. Oktober via Warp Records.
