Joey Negro & Sean P kuratieren rare Disco-Tracks für „Supafunkanova Vol. 2“

Mit „Supafunkanova Vol. 2“ melden sich Joey Negro und Sean P als Compilation-Duo zurück. Die beiden Engländern arbeiteten bereits für „Disco (Not Disco)“ auf Strut, „Destination Boogie“ und „The Soul of Disco“ zusammen.

Für „Supafunkanova Vol. 2“ haben die zwei 20 Tracks von unter anderem Larry Harris, Splash, Airplay, Blackrock, Storm und Nick Allen herausgesucht. Musikalisch geht es auf eine Zeitreise in die funkige Phase der 70er und 80er.

Die Compilation erscheint als Doppel-CD, Doppel-LP und digital auf Z Records. Veröffentlicht wird sie am 9. März. Wer die erste Ausgabe von „Supafunkanova“ verpasst hat, darf sich auf das Reissue mit neuem Cover freuen.
