Sven Väth had to cancel Cocoon Festival due to accident
Cocoon and Sven Väth fans who were looking forward to the German techno icon’s performance at yesterday’s Cocoon Festival in Malaga had to swallow a bitter pill. Because Sven Väth injured his ankle and cannot stand for long as a result of his injury. For this reason, he also had to cancel his gig in Spain. On Instagram, the native of Hesse linked his cancellation to a picture in which he can be seen on crutches.
It is not yet known how long he will be affected by this. But since Sven Väth regularly plays gigs during the summer months not only at the weekends but also during the week, it remains to be seen whether there will be further cancellations. On 24 September, Sven Väth is scheduled to play in NRW at Blankenwasser (formerly known as Kiesgrube).
