Superbloom, Iceland Airwaves, Fred Again.. etc. – das sind die Gewinner des European Festival Awards

Im Rahmen des 37. ESNS Festivals (ehemals Eurosonic Norderslaag) fand am ersten Tag des Events im niederländischen Groningen die Preisverleihung der European Festival Awards statt.

Zu den nominierten Festivals gehörten u. a. Defqon.1, EXIT, Ruhr-in-Love, Parookaville, Nature One und Mysteryland. Weitere Vertreter aus Deutschland sind u. a. Superbloom, Happiness Festival, Highfield, MAYDAY, Syndicate und Tempelhof Sounds.

Insgesamt 16 Kategorien gibt es, in 15 Kategorien konnte man online seine Favorit*innen wählen. So wurde als bestes neues Festival Superbloom in München gewählt und als Newcomer des Jahres wurde Fred Again.. ausgezeichnet.
