Soul Jazz veröffentlicht Enzyklopadie über Cover-Artworks der Disco-Ära inkl. CD

Das englische Label Soul Jazz Records veröffentlicht eine Enzyklopädie der Cover-Artworks der Disco-Ära. Das Buch wird im Format einer 12INch-Single erscheinen, ist 208 Seiten lang und enthält 600 Farbillustrationen. Disco Patrick und Patrick Vogt sind die Autoren des Werkes, das die Periode von 1970 bis Mitte der 80er Jahre umfasst. Neben dem visuellen Schwerpunkt beinhaltet das Buch auch Interviews mit wichtigen Protagonisten der Disco-Ära, Biografien und Diskografien der wichtigsten Labels.
Parallel zum Buch erscheint auch eine Compilation mit einer Auswahl von Independent Disco, Modern Soul und Boogie von 1978–82, zusammengestellt von Disco Patrick.

„DISCO – An Encyclopaedic Guide to the Cover Art of Disco Records“ erscheint am 17. November 2014, die Compilation „DISCO – A Fine Selection of Independent Disco, Modern Soul and Boogie 1978-82“ kommt am 14. November.
